here is the contest Criteria:
It can be anything that has to do with L's past, meaning the pre-Kira time. It's up to you whether you draw a picture, make a comic, flash etc. Other characters can be included, too.

Why I drew what I drew:
Ls messy hair style and under-eye shadow give him that slightly emo-scene look, which gave me the idea to draw him posing in front of the camera as a typical teenage My Space Whore. It wouldn't be unusual for him to have been such, especially if you take into consideration the amount of time he spends in front of the computer!

It took hours, but the final deviation is huge. The L in the top left is hand drawn. I was too lazy to find a free download for the right font.

Inked by hand, colored by Photoshop. ^_^
