You have no idea how much I hate this picture. The background drove me nuts, and it still looks bad =/ I liked it better without it, but they had to be posing somewhere. And I really, really couldn't be bothered redoing it.
One day, I'll redo it with a new background. One day, when I have more patience and get better at backgrounds. ~ All clubs have permission, etc |

Near grows out of his shortness, as shown in the Death Note one shot published in Shonen-Jump that finished the series. So the idea was to have them both as they were when they were at the height of their career as L.
That sort of fell through, though.
